Luke Dretske has lived in Berlin, Wisconsin his whole life. He is bringing his homegrown leadership to fight for the families of the 41st Assembly District.
Luke’s parents always pushed their sons to excellence both in school and the community. Luke has always understood the importance of fiscal responsibility since being taught about financial management by his grandmother at a very young age.
At the age of 14, Luke started his first part-time job at Mascoutin Golf Course. Later he got a job at a family-owned bank in Berlin working on the teller line and in customer service.
In 2017, Luke graduated from Berlin High School and began his studies at Ripon College. At Ripon College, Luke studies Finance, and Politics and Government. Further exploring National Security, American Studies, and Law and Society.
Luke is heavily involved in the Student Government at Ripon College. First elected as Secretary and later elected President of the Student Senate. As president, he has put in place common-sense reform and established fiscal responsibility as a core element of student organizations. In addition, Luke currently serves as the President of the Ripon College Republicans.
Luke also serves on many other roles at Ripon College such as on the Budget Committee for the whole campus as well as serving on the Faculty committee. Also serving as the Vice-President of the International Relations Club and being on Dean’s List every semester.
In the Summer of 2019, Luke was selected to be an intern for Wisconsin Senator, Senator Ron Johnson. He worked alongside policy experts in Washington D.C.
In 2019, Luke was appointed the Vice-Chair of the Northeastern region of the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans. In 2020, he was elected as the Treasurer for the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans.
Luke knows that the people of the 41st Assembly District represent the core values of the American Dream. As your Representative at the State Capitol, he will support family values, support conservation, protect small businesses from the overreach of big government, and defend the Constitution.
